JOB PURPOSE

Leading, managing, training, and mentoring the Fuel Systems Construction project crew. A crew leader must prioritize, delegate responsibility, inspect work, keep accurate records, interact with both customers and contractors, and ultimately ensure projects are completed efficiently, accurately, on-time, and on-budget.

   Planning, leading, and inspecting new construction projects.

   Taking an active role in project management decisions and uses of material and human resources

   Ensuring highest levels of customer service by service staff

   Ensuring ongoing maintenance, security, and safety of Willborn equipment, shops, tools, and parts

   Communicating frequently with service staff on performance toward established operational goals

   Using accurate & timely record keeping, as well as key performance indicators (KPI's) to create a learning organization that minimizes costly mistakes.

 

Maintain Willborn product and service offerings by:

   Creating and maintaining lasting relationships with customers, vendors, and contractors

   Collaborating with internal and external Davidson Oil personnel, with emphasis on the service and parts departments.

   Staying abreast of new products, laws, regulations, licenses, and certifications.

   Actively seeking applicable licenses, and certifications

   Directing Willborn construction projects in a way that builds our brand

 

Help the Construction department meet established revenue, expense, and profit targets by:

   Monitoring bids, budget allocations, expenditures, and other related financial metrics.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

   Must be 18 years of age

   Must have a clean driving record

   Must be able to pass pre-employment drug & background checks

   Must have a high school diploma

   Training and certifications in OSHA Safety, Underground Petroleum Storage Tank Installation, Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical, and Computer networking also a plus

   Must have knowledge and ability to operate small to mid-sized construction equipment

   Must have ability to express ideas concisely and clearly, orally and in writing

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

   Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

   Required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles or equipment and operating machines where the seeing job is at or within arm's reach

   The worker is subject to outside environmental conditions with no effective protection from the weather and may be subject to both extreme heat and extreme cold.
