JOB PURPOSE

Leading, managing, training, and mentoring the Fuel Systems Construction project crew. A foreman must prioritize, delegate responsibility, inspect work, keep accurate records, interact with both customers and contractors, and ultimately ensure projects are completed efficiently, accurately, on-time, and on-budget.

Ensure safe, quality, efficient, and timely delivery of Willborn projects by:

  • Planning, leading, and inspecting new construction projects.
  • Taking an active role in project management decisions and uses of material and human resources
  • Ensuring highest levels of customer service by service staff
  • Ensuring ongoing maintenance, security, and safety of Willborn equipment, shops, tools, and parts
  • Communicating frequently with service staff on performance toward established operational goals
  • Using accurate & timely record keeping, as well as key performance indicators (KPI's) to create a learning organization that minimizes costly mistakes.

Maintain Willborn product and service offerings by:

  • Creating and maintaining lasting relationships with customers, vendors, and contractors
  • Collaborating with internal and external Davidson Oil personnel, with emphasis on the service and parts departments.
  • Staying abreast of new products, laws, regulations, licenses, and certifications
  • Directing Willborn construction projects in a way that builds our brand

Help the Construction department meet established revenue, expense, and profit targets by:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug & background checks
  • Must have a high school diploma
  • Must have current or previous Underground Petroleum Storage Tank Installation
  • Training and certifications in OSHA Safety, Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical, and Computer networking also a plus
  • Must have knowledge and ability to operate small to mid-sized construction equipment
  • Must have ability to express ideas concisely and clearly, orally and in writing

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

  • Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles or equipment and operating machines where the seeing job is at or within arm's reach
  • The worker is subject to outside environmental conditions with no effective protection from the weather and may be subject to both extreme heat and extreme cold.
