JOB PURPOSE

Assisting foremen in the execution of fuel systems projects. They perform a range of duties related to fueling systems and mainly work outdoors.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

•    Must be 18 years of age
•    Must have a clean driving record
•    Must be able to pass pre-employment drug & background checks
•    Must have a high school diploma.
•    Training and certifications in OSHA Safety, Underground Petroleum Storage Tank Installation, Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical, and Computer networking also a plus

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Assist in the layout, assembly and installation of piping for fuel systems
•    Assist in measuring, cutting, threading, assembling and preparing materials or objects for installation and assembly
•    Excavate, grade, level and dig holes and trenches to desired or required depths, by hand or using trenching tools
•    Fit or assist in fitting valves, couplings, or assemblies to tanks, pumps, or systems, using hand tools
•    Move construction or extraction material to locations
•    Operate hand and power tools
•    Gather, load and unload construction materials
•    Aid in establishing reference lines and anchor bolts
•    Clean work area of debris, hazardous material, and equipment after each shift
•    Assist others as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

•    Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
•    Required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles or equipment and operating machines where the seeing job is at or within arm's reach
•    The worker is subject to outside environmental conditions with no effective protection from the weather and may be subject to both extreme heat and extreme cold.
