Willborn is looking for a Construction Project Estimator/Coordinator to help us continuously improve and grow our construction department!

Job Purpose

The Construction Estimator/Coordinator helps the company reach its goals by providing timely & accurate project cost estimates & contracts, as well as providing progress tracking and coordination for multiple construction projects that may be at some level of execution simultaneously.   

Essential Results

• ENSURE PROJECT ACCURACY- ensure construction projects are of the highest quality and built to customer specifications
• DELIVER TIMELY PROJECTS-Ensure construction teams deliver projects and documentation accurately, and on time
• PROTECT PROJECT PROFITABILITY-Meet revenue, expense, and overall profit goals.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have previous estimating or project management experience
• Experience in basic construction practices a plus
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must have a clean driving record
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug & background checks
• Must have a high school diploma
• Bachelor's degree in related field a plus
• Must have the ability to read and interpret plans, establish project controls and schedules. Prior experience a plus.
• Must have the ability to master estimating and CAD software suites. Prior experience a plus.
• Must be proficient on Windows PC & Microsoft Office suite
• Must have ability to express ideas concisely and clearly, orally and in writing
• Must have the ability, and willingness to seek out information from a diverse array of project stakeholders.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force to constantly move objects.
• Required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection.
